No. Audio is processed in RAM in real time and immediately discarded - it never hits the disk. When you use cloud transcription, audio is sent through our zero-retention proxy: the provider processes it in memory and returns the text without storing anything. Only the transcribed text is then sent to AI - never the voice recording itself. API keys are stored in the macOS Keychain. You can also use offline transcription for fully local processing without sending anything at all.

Flash uses TelemetryDeck for anonymous, aggregated usage stats (e.g., recording duration in ranges, word counts in ranges). The content of your dictations is never analyzed, stored, or transmitted for analytics purposes. Zero user identification.

Multiple layers. All dictation history is encrypted with AES-256-GCM on your device. API keys are stored in the macOS Keychain, never in plain text. Cloud transcription goes through a stateless zero-retention proxy - the provider processes audio in memory and returns the transcript without storing anything.
